Homage to martyrs of war at Kathmandu
The Bangladesh Embassy in Katmandu yesterday observed the 41st Independence and National Day of Bangladesh in a befitting manner.
The day's programme began with the hoisting of the national flag on the embassy premises here.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal Dr Neem Chandra Bhowmik hoisted the national flag of Bangladesh, when the national anthem was played.
It the function was followed by recitation from Holy Quran, Bible, Gita, and Tripitak.
