Country's liberation not possible without Bangabandhu: Ershad
Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad yesterday said people will respect Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as the father of the nation for obvious reasons since Bangladesh could not be liberated without him.
The Jatiya Party chief was speaking at a discussion at his Banani office in the city.
Jatiya Party city North unit organised the discussion to mark country's 40th Independence Day.
Ershad said, “It is undoubted that Bangladesh would not have achieved independence if Bangabandhu was not born.”
