Hill cutting protested
A human chain was formed protesting hill cutting in Cox's Bazar yesterday.
Bangladesh Poribesh Andolan (Bapa), Green Cox's Bazar and Cox's Bazar Poribseh Bachao Andolon jointly organised the human chain programme in front of deputy commissioner's office in Cox's Bazar.
Journalist Mohammad Nurul Islam, Bapa Cox's Bazar Vice-President Mokbul Ahmed and Bapa central committee leader Saiful Islam Chowdhury spoke at the programme.
They urged the prime minister to take necessary steps to stop the hill cutting.
