'Stop setting up safari park'
Ganoforum yesterday called upon the government to stop setting up of Bangabandhu Safari Park in Sreepur, Gazipur destroying houses and farmlands of the inhabitants in the area, says a press release.
Referring to harassment of local protesters by police, Ganoforum's acting president Pankaj Bhattacharya also urged the government to refrain from harassing the residents.
