Killing of adivasi woman: Punishment demanded
Advasi students of Chittagong University (CU) yesterday demanded due punishment to the criminals who allegedly raped and killed an indigenous housewife on March 25.
The demand came from a human chain formed by Adivasi Chhatra Sangram Parishad of CU in front of the university's Central Shaheed Minar.
The students said Hnang Bai Marma, 28, of Manikchari upazila in Khagrachari was gang raped and killed Friday by four Bangalees including Md Selim, Shahab Uddin, and Feroz.
