One crushed under CU train's wheel
A man was crushed under the wheels of a Chittagong University (CU) shuttle train at Sholoshahar Railway Station under Panchlaish Police Station in the port city yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Kamal Hossain, 30, son of Sattar Mistri. He was a resident of I W Colony of Sholoshahar area.
Police said the accident took place when Kamal who worked in a local tea stall, was crossing the rail line at Sholoshahar at around 9.30am.
Delwar Hossain, sub-inspector (SI) of railway police, told The Daily Star that the body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for autopsy.
