Bodies of Bangladeshi peacekeepers arrive today
Bodies of the two Bangladeshis, who died along with 24 other fellow UN peacekeepers in a plane crash on April 4 in Congo, arrive home today.
The namaz-e-janaza of Maj KM Ziaul Haque and Corporal Md Yunus Mian, the killed Bangladeshi peacekeepers, was held on Sunday in Congo. They will be buried with military honour in Bangladesh.
Congo government officials, and members of UN peacekeeping corps, and special representative of the UN general secretary, Roger Messi, paid their last moment honour to the deceased in a special parade Sunday.
