Six killed in Khulna road accident
At least six people were killed and 30 others injured as a bus collided head-on with a truck at Dumuria upazila in Khulna yesterday.
Police said the accident took place when a Khulna-bound bus collided head-on with a truck at Solua and fell into a roadside ditch around 11:00am, leaving six passengers of the bus dead on the spot.
The deceased were identified as Bidhan Chandra Dhali, 40, deputy agriculture officer of Dumuria, Moina Mondal, 30, and his son Koushik Mondol, 4, Marjina Begum, 45, and driver Babu, 45, while another's identity could not be known immediately.
