Question papers served late in HSC exams
The guardians here yesterday demanded compensation against the time loss caused by late distribution of HSC exam question papers to the students at Hazi Mohammad Mohsin College centre in the port city on Sunday.
Seventy five HSC examinees from different English medium schools got Physics question papers (English medium) about one hour late at the exam centre.
The guardians feared that this incident will hinder the expected result of their children.
Admitting the incident, Pijush Dutta, Controller of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Chittagong, told The Daily Star that though the same Bangla question papers were brought timely but the English version questions were late as those were left over in the treasury office in abandon.
Pijush said he received complaint letters from eight guardians.
“We formed a two member probe committee in this regard and will take necessary steps after getting the probe report so that no student is being affected,” said Pijush.
