CU students agree to sit for exam
Students of the Oriental Languages (Pali and Sangskrit) department of Chittagong University yesterday agreed to sit for examination under one examination committee.
The students agreed to the decision after a discussion with Chairman of the department Dr Gayan Ratna and Assistant Proctor Syedul Islam.
Proctor Syedul told journalists emerging from the meeting.
Few students admitting their faults said they have done, he added.
Earlier, the students kept the classrooms and offices of the teachers under lock and key for around three hours from 8:00am yesterday demanding two separate examination committees for Pali and Sangskrit.
