Mujibnagar govt recalled
A huge number of students from 11 schools and colleges participated in a programme at Adamzi Cantonment College in the city yesterday, recalling the day (April 17) of formation of Mujibnagar government, the first government of independent Bangladesh.
Prime Minister's Adviser Towfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury attended the event as the chief guest.
Chief of General Staff of Army, Lt General Md Mainul Islam, was present as the special guest.
