Arrest of Golam Azam, Amini demanded
Speakers at a discussion yesterday demanded immediate arrest of Golam Azam, Amini and quick trial of war crimes to uphold the ideals and spirit of the War of Liberation in true perspective.
The trial of the perpetrators of genocide, killings, lootings, rape, arson and violation of human rights during nation's crucial juncture in 1971 is essential to erase its stigma, they added.
Held in the Dhaka Reporters Unity auditorium, the discussion on “Audacious comments of extremist Amini and quick holding of trail of war criminals” was jointly organised by Muktijoddha Samonnya Parishad, MSP and Amra Mukitjoddher Shantan.
