'Ansar, VDP Ctg conference held
Ansar and Village Defense Party (VDP) not only helped establish women empowerment in society but also within it, as they comprise of 50 percent women and 50 percent men, said speakers at a conference yesterday.
The annual conference of Ansar and VDP of Chittagong district was held at Chittagong Medical College Hospital auditorium.
Ansar Director General and VDP Major General Md Jahidur Rahman was the chief guest with Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Fayez Ahmed in the chair.
