Speakers at a seminar yesterday demanded ensuring smooth movement of the challenged people everywhere.
Addressing at the seminar held at the Civil Engineering department of Buet they placed a set of recommendations in this regard including constructing the buildings challenged people friendly.
Action on Disability and Development International and Architect dept of Buet jointly organised the seminar on "Accessible Infrastructure for Persons with Disabilities - Issue and Options" with the assistance of Manusher Jonno Foundation.
State Minister for Housing and Public Works Abdul Mannan Khan, Prof Habibur Rahman and Rina Roy, director of Manusher Jonno Foundation among others spoke at the seminar.
SM Nazmul Imam, assistant professor of the Architect department and its lecturer Matluba Khan presented the keynote speech.
