US diplomat Kirby due tomorrow
Michael D Kirby, US principal deputy assistant secretary (PDAS) for consular affairs, arrives in Dhaka tomorrow.
During his visit, he will meet with the foreign ministry officials and students of different universities, and will inaugurate the Education USA Fair, says a press release.
He will talk to students about student visa issues for study in the US. Kirby looks forward to connecting with the local community and especially students and educationists.
He is a career foreign service consular officer and has served in the State Department for nearly 30 years.
