Students ransack vehicles in city
Students of Mirpur University College barricaded Mirpur section-2 road and ransacked vehicles after a student of the college was injured in a road accident near Mirpur Police Station in the city yesterday.
The injured student Mohammad Russell was a first year honours student of the college.
Police said the accident took place when a Mirpur section-1 bound bus of Bengal Paribahan hit Russell while he was crossing the road.
