Three hurt as Buet BCL rivals clash
Three students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) were injured in a clash between two rival factions of Buet unit Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) yesterday.
Injured BCL activist Joy Prokash, a first year student of chemical engineering, was rushed to DMCH.
Joy's fellow students said rivals led by BCL activists Mokammel and Rana beat and pushed Joy off the second floor of Ahsan Ullah Hall around 5:00pm.
OC Mohammed Ali of Chawkbazar Police Station however said the clash was over a cricket match.
