Hasina a visionary leader: FM
Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni yesterday termed Sheikh Hasina a visionary leader and said Hasina has set up the milestone of all development for the country and its people.
"Sheikh Hasina ensured food security and empowerment of women side by side with strengthening democracy and parliament through her visionary leadership."
"She never retreated in the struggle for establishing rights of the people to vote and food," said Dipu Moni at a discussion at the Jatiya Press Club in the city.
Durnibar Bangladesh organised it on "Sheikh Hasina: In the struggle for restoration of democracy, development and peace."
She said Bangladesh has been recognised as a role model abroad for its achievements especially in sectors of agriculture, food security, and climate change.
