2 students held with arms in Ctg
Police arrested two university students with arms from Sholokbahar area in the port city yesterday.
The arrestees were identified as Md Rafique Uddin, a History Department student of Chittagong University (CU) and Tahijul Akter alias Jewel, a Law Department student of Premier University.
On conducting a drive at the mess building named 'Jaheda Villa', police nabbed two students around 2:30pm and recovered 8 lethal weapons and two iron rods.
A case was filed with Panchlaish Police Station under arms act, said the OC.
