81.23pc pass in Sylhet
Pass rate in SSC examinations this year under Sylhet board stands at 81.23 percent, with 2,148 students achieving the top score of GPA-5.
Among the GPA-5 achievers are 1,240 male and 908 female.
This year 48,575 students including 21,958 male and 26,617 female appeared at the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
In consideration of pass rate and the number of GPA-5 achievers, top 20 institutions are selected in Sylhet board.
They are Sylhet Cadet College, Blue Bird High School, Sylhet Government Pilot High School, Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College, The Flowers KG and High School in Moulvibazar, Government Agragami Girls High School in Habiganj, Government High School, Jalalabad Cantonment Board High School, The Buds Residential Model High School in Srimangal, Government Jubilee High School in Sunamganj, Border Guard Public School, BKGC Government High School in Habiganj, Shahjalal Zamea High School, BTRI High School in Srimangal, Scholarshome, Moulvibazar Government High School, Ali Amzad Government High School in Moulvibazar, Government SC Girls High School in Sunamganj, Chhatak Cement Factory High School and Natural Gas Fertilizer Factory in Fenchuganj.
