Youth commits suicide
A youth committed suicide by hanging himself from ceiling at his residence at Love Lane of Sadar upazila in the port city yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Manik Monsur Ali, 30, son of Monsur Ali.
Quoting family members police said Manik was found in a bathroom at his residence in the morning. He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead, police added.
Family members said Manik had been suffering from mental illness for last few months.
