CRP observes International Nurses Day
Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) Nursing Institute and Medical Care Unit jointly celebrated International Nurses Day yesterday themed “Closing the Gap: Increasing Access and Equity”.
They held a procession from in front of CRP and ending at the same place, circulating Savar Bazar and Radio Colony. Later a discussion was also held at Redway Hall of CRP.
Gazi Mohammad Munir, senior assistant secretary of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, was present at the discussion as the chief guest. Prof Dr M A Kader, Dr ATM Abdur Razzak and CRP Nursing Institute acting principal Runu Chowdhury also spoke.
International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world marking the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth, says a press release.
