Bullet-hit student dies at hospital
A college student who was shot by police at Dakkhin Khan in the city on April 28 succumbed to his injuries at Apollo Hospital yesterday.
Mohsin Ali, 21, a first year honours student of management department at Government Titumeer College, died at 6:00am.
Police shot Mohsin in the right leg while he along with his friend was crossing a police check post on a motorcycle at Ashkona of Dakkhin Khan around 10:00pm on April 28.
Dakkhin Khan police said they shot Mohsin as he fired on them defying their order to stop in front of the check post.
Police said Mohsin was wanted in several cases.
