Muggers kill man, snatch bike
Muggers shot dead a motorcycle rider and snatched the motorcycle on Kalaroa-Jugukhali road in Kalaroa upazila yesterday.
The deceased Golam Rabbani, 42, son of Jamal Uddin of Gajna village in Kalaroa upazila, used to earn by carrying passengers on his motorcycle, said police.
The muggers stopped him near Manikhkhali intersection around 10:00pm and shot him on the head when he refused to hand over the motorcycle, police added.
The body was sent to Satkhira morgue for post mortem and a case was filed with Kalaroa thana.
