Road accidents kill four
Four people were killed and four others injured in separate road accidents in Brahmanbaria and Magura yesterday.
Our Brahmanbaria correspondent reports: Two people were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between a tempo and a Sylhet-bound bus on Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Shahbazpur village of Sarail upazila yesterday.
The deceased were identified as Yesin Mia, 60, and Shah Alam, 40, of Hossainpur village of Bijoynagar upazila.
Our Magura correspondent says: Two lichee traders were killed as they suddenly fell down on street from a lichee-laden truck on Magura-Faridpur highway at Kasundi early yesterday.
The deceased are Belal Hossain, 55, son of Abdus Sattar, of Hagra village in Bagherpara upazila and Yunus Shikder, 45, son of Matin Mian, of Chengutia village of Avoynagar upazila in Jessore.
