One to die for killing housewife
A Chittagong court yesterday awarded death penalty to a person and life term imprisonment for six others on charge of killing a housewife on November 3, 2004.
Salauddin alias Babu will be hung while Din Mahmud, Titu, Dilder Hossain, Sirajul Islam, Abdullah Al Mamun alias Dhakaia Mamun and Sohel alias Dhakia Sohel will serve life term and have to pay Tk 20 thousand as fine or will have to serve further one year of simple imprisonment.
Fifth Additional Metropolitan Session Judge La Mong passed the order.
