Unfair bus fare

Frequent outbreak of numerous problems is a day-to-day concern in Dhaka. The latest addition in the list of woes of city dwellers is the undue increase in transportation fare. Getting no announcement from the govt. about fare increase, the transport owners have taken the responsibility of price fixing. Recently, the govt. has increased the price of CNG. But it is quite unfortunate that the owners have increased the fare before the rule is implemented! Such high fare has made the city dwellers' life more miserable. The BRTA and the govt. must take effective measures in maintaining proper fare of public transportation.
