Young generation to build digital Bangladesh

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman Hussein Muhammad Ershad here yesterday said the present young generation would build the digital Bangladesh using modern scientific and technological skills.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina correctly envisioned Vision-2021 for a technologically advanced nation through digitalisation and spreading information and communication technology (ICT) among the younger generation, he said.
Ershad was addressing as the chief guest the inaugural ceremony of a three-day information technology fair arranged at Rangpur Zila School marking 32nd National Science and Information Communication Technology Week-2011.
With Deputy Commissioner BM Enamul Haque in the chair, central Awami League leader and valiant freedom fighter Tipu Munshi MP and Headmaster of Rangpur Zila School AR Mizanur Rahman addressed the ceremony as the special guests.
Earlier, Ershad addressed a views exchange meeting with the civil society members and officials at the conference room of the deputy commissioner with DC BM Enamul Haque in the chair.
