Bangladeshi shot by Indian Khasias
A Bangladeshi sustained bullet injuries as Khasias from India opened fire without any provocation on Bichhnakandi border of Gowainghat upazila here yesterday.
Seriously injured Babul Miah, 18, son of Farid Uddin of Bagaia Muslimpara village was admitted with Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
Border sources said Babul was working on Bishhnakandi Stone Quarry area near border pillar # 1263 around 9:00am when he was shot.
Border Guard Bangladesh Bichhnakandi camp in-charge sent a protest letter to Noyabazar Border Security Force camp.
