Ramisa Khatun
Ramisa Khatun, mother of journalist Md Mahtab Uddin, passed away at her residence at Mirpur Section 14 in the city yesterday due to cancer.
She was 90, says a press release.
Ramisa left behind her three sons, one daughter, grandchildren, and a host of relatives to mourn the death.
She will be buried at her village home at Raghabpur in Pabna after Namaj-e-Janaja.
Relatives and well-wishers are requested to pray for the salvation of her departed soul.
