Obituary
Physician Akhteruzzaman Sha-mim, former student of Sir Salimullah Medical College, passed away due to a cardiac arrest on Saturday night at the age of 43.
Dr Shamim was doing his MS coursework in Ophthalmology in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.
He left behind him a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried at his family graveyard in Rangpur following namaz-e-janaza, says a press release.
Ex-student Association of the college condoled his death. The association will hold a milad and a doa mahfil at Women's Voluntary Association auditorium on May 26.
