Death anniversary
Today is the seventh death anniversary of Asia Khatun, mother of film producer and photographer Suman Shams, says a press release.
Asia was killed in a launch accident on this day in 2004.
On the occasion, a rally demanding safe river route will be held at the Central Shaheed Minar in the city at 4:30pm today. A milad mahfil will also be held at her residence after Maghrib prayers.
Relatives and well wishers are requested to attend the programmes.
