Woman killed under train's wheels
A woman was crushed under the wheels of a Chittagong University shuttle train at Chowdhuryhat in Hathazari Upazila yesterday.
Police said the university-bound train hit one Bulbul Barua, 42, wife of Ratan Barua of the city's Kazir Dewry, near Chowdhuryhat Railway Station at about 11:30am when she was trying to cross the railway track.
Locals rushed her to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) where doctors declared her dead.
