Seminar on Tagore held at CU

A seminar on Rabindranath Tagore's literary thinking was held at Chittagong University (CU) yesterday in celebration of the Nobel laureate poet's 150th birth anniversary. Faculty of Arts organised the seminar at no. 2 gallery of the faculty. Quazi Mostain Billah, professor of English department and former dean of Arts Faculty, presented the keynote paper. Prof Mostain said Rabindarnath had roamed in Bangladesh for long time at the age of 25, and his thinking during that period was given shape in his literature. Prof Golam Kibria Bhuiyan, dean of Arts Faculty, presided over the seminar.
