'Reduce prices of essentials'
Leaders of Gano Forum yesterday demanded of the government to reduce the price of electricity, fuel and essential commodities.
Addressing a human chain in front of Jatiya Press Club in the city, they said the government frequently raised price of electricity and fuel, impacting on price of essential commodities and transport fares.
Blaming the government, they urged the government to bring the involved those involved in the share market debacle to book and alleged state-sponsored terrorism regarding the issue centring Limon.
Commander (retd) Abdur Rouf and former whip Abdur Rouf also spoke.
