Obituary
Md Rafiqul Islam Mani Miah, younger brother of former finance and planning minister M Saifur Rahman, passed away at a hospital in the city yesterday due to cardiac arrest at the age of 65, says a press release.
He left behind his wife, one son and one daughter.
He was a senior member of district BNP committee.
He will be buried at his family graveyard at Baharmordan village of Sadar upazila after namaz-e-janaza.
District BNP president and general secretary condoled his death.
