Dhaka, Tehran for Palestine's independence
Bangladesh and Iran yesterday reiterated their unequivocal support for the establishment of an independent state of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The support was voiced as Mohammad Ali Fathollahi, a special envoy of Iranian president, now on an official visit to Dhaka, called on Foreign Minister Dipu Moni yesterday.
They exchanged their views on regional and international issues and agreed to work together in various regional and international fora for the benefit of the two countries.
