Adventure fest ends
With the promise of overcoming life's adversities, the week-long “Shah Cement Adventure Fest 2011” ended in Dhaka University (DU) yesterday.
Some 20 youths participated on the concluding day in a training of jumar climbing (a technique of mountain climbing) supervised by Lal Bahadur Jirel, a co-mountaineer of Everest conqueror Musa Ibrahim, on DU Central Playground.
North Alpine Club Bangladesh (NACB) organised the festival marking the first anniversary of Musa's Everest conquest.
