Youth caught while molesting baby
A youth was caught red handed while allegedly molesting a three-year-old baby girl at Adabar in the city yesterday.
A relative of the baby said the youth, Aminur Rahman, 22, a worker of an embroidery shop took the baby to his room from in front of its home at Road No 2 of Mehdibagh about 1:00pm.
Neighbour rushed in when the baby started crying during the molestation and caught him.
Ekramul Mollah, relatives of the baby, said the baby told them everything about the incident.
He said her father is a construction worker and her mother is a housewife but she was not at their tin-shed room during the incident.
The neighbors beaten Aminur and handed over to the police.
The girl was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and brought to her home after giving first aid.
A case was filed with Adabor Police Station. Aminur confessed to the molestation, police said.
