Zebra crossing!

Dhaka metropolitan traffic authority laid two zebra crossings close to one another on eastern side-road of the Ramna Park primarily to facilitate walkers to access the iconic park safely and without hazard. In recent times, specially in late afternoon unprecedented number of vehicles of all kinds steam in both sides of the road unremittingly and clogging bumper to bumper all along including those zebra crossings leaving no room whatsoever for pedestrians to pass. I , on different occasions talked to the sergeants and learnt that they are undone due to capacity-constraint. I would like to urge the metropolitan traffic authority to schedule at least one police personnel during high traffic time to assist numerous park users to cross the adjacent road risk-free.
