Free country from violence!
The front page headline of July 13th of a local English daily, very rightly reflects the view of the majority of the people in the country; who desire that peace prevail all over Bangladesh.
Sheer frustration, made the High Court Bench of Justices Chowdhury and Haque, to say so; on behalf of all of us! Their views were directed to the leaders of the two opposing parties present in the court, Moudud Ahmed and Shafique Ahmed. He asked them "Please, both of you 'Ahmeds' should free us from this, political turmoil and violence!” As usual, Moudud changed the subject, by citing "analogue and digital systems of politics"; the meaning of which is not clear to this reader. Possibly it was Moudud's lame attempt to confuse the people, since there was no excuse for his party's present stance of street violence and disorder!
