4 alleged burglars held in Ctg
Detective Branch (DB) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested four alleged burglars in the port city yesterday.
The arrestees allegedly looted a truck containing cotton worth Tk 50 lakh on April 20 on the way to Tangail from Chittagong Port, said the CMP sources.
The arrestees are Mujibur Rahman, 32, son of late Mokhlesur Rahman, of Patiya upazila in Chittagong, Utpal Kumar Chowdhury, 32, son of late Gopal Chowdhury, of Boalkhali in Chittagong, Abdul Momen, 26, son of Ali Ahmad, of Chandanaish in Chittagong and Md Harun, 38, son of Mamtaj Uddin, of Dhupchachiya in Bogra.
