Another case filed against Sheershanews editor
Another extortion case was filed against the editor of Sheershanews.com two days after his arrest in connection with an extortion case.
Mohammad Shahidul Islam, a resident of Ashulia, filed the case yesterday with a Dhaka court against Mohammad Ekramul Haq and two others for demanding Tk 50 lakh as extortion.
The other accused in the case are Ekramul's wife and his manager Alamgir Hossain.
Police arrested Ekramul Haq, also editor of Weekly Sheersha Kagoj, on July 31 in connection with a case filed against him for demanding Tk 20 lakh as extortion from a trader.
