Teenage girl violated in Jamalpur
A teenage girl was allegedly violated by four men in Polashtola village of Jamalpur sadar upazila on Thursday night.
Sources said the girl, aged 13, came to visit her mother, who was with her second husband in the village of Ranagachha union, from Guthail of Islampur upazila.
When the girl came out of her mother's residence at night to answer a call of nature, locals Himel, Rahad, Shahin and Rasel forcibly took her to a nearby isolated area and violated her, added sources.
Sometime later, the victim's mother and stepfather went out in search of her when she did not return. They found her in critical condition and admitted her to Jamalpur General Hospital, said sources.
