Driver hacked, car snatched in Kalyanpur

Unidentified men snatched a private car after hacking its driver in the city's Kalyanpur early yesterday. The driver Mohammad Babul was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with injuries to his abdomen, chest and head. Police said Babul was coming out from a gas station in the area after refueling around 4:00am when five men stopped and hacked him for the keys. The car's owner came to Darussalam Police Station but did not file any complaint. Police is searching for the car, police said.
