IGP leaves for Sweden today

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Hasan Mahmud Khandaker is leaving Dhaka today to attend the 21st annual meeting of International Police Executive Symposium in Sweden. The IGP will lead a four-member delegation including representatives from the home ministry and police in the five-day long symposium beginning Thursday. The IGP said top police officials from 60 countries are expected to join the symposium titled “Cotemporary Issues on Public Security”.
