Mill worker electrocuted
A rice mill worker was electrocuted at Kazinagar village in Begumganj upazila yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mostafa, 32, of Faridpur.
Police said Mostafa came in contact with a snapped live electric wire while working at the rice mill.
When his assistant Shohan tried to rescue him, he also got injured.
Mostafa was admitted to Noakhali Medical College Hospital where the doctor declared him dead. The body was sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
