Journo, outlaw sent to jail

A judicial magistrate court in Chuadanga on Sunday sent arrested Bhorer Kagoj journalist Rafiq Rahman to jail with outlaw activist Akram Hossain. Rafiq, Chuadaga district correspondent of Dhaka-based daily Bhorer Kagoj, was arrested on Saturday night following a statement of Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP-ML) activist Akram, police said. On Saturday morning, police arrested Akram from Chuadanga town with huge posters of PBCP. Akram told police that the posters were printed at Aziz Printing Press owned by journalist Rafiq, who also admitted printing the posters for outlaws.
