3-year-old found dead in well
Police recovered the body of a three-year-old girl from a well in Turag area in the city yesterday.
The deceased Yasmin is daughter of late Samiul Haque of Baunia Purbopara in Turag.
Fariz Uddin, sub-inspector of Turag Police Station, said Yasmin went missing from her house on Wednesday morning while her mother, Aysha Begum, a domestic help, was away at work.
Yasmin was with her two siblings, aged five and two, at that time in the house, he said, adding that the well adjacent to their house had a low boundary.
On information, police recovered the body from the well around 11:30am and sent it to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.
