JU Alumni Association formed
Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Friday formed its central alumni association for the first time since the university's establishment in 1970.
JU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Sharif Enamul Kabir and its Registrar Abu Bakr Siddique, both former JU students, were made the convener and member secretary respectively of JU Alumni Association (JUAA) in an alumni meeting Friday afternoon.
The meeting held at Zahir Raihan Auditorium on the campus also declared the convener committee of JUAA including 101 members.
